Fairmont Park, a residential community in northwest Midland, is close to major highways, commercial centers, and entertainment options, making it ideal for those looking for weekend fun. Easy to get to and from, the Fairmont Park area is accessible by personal vehicle and by EZ Rider, Midland and Odessa’s shared public transportation system.

Major highway Texas 250 Loop is Fairmont Park’s northern boundary and continues to the south to make up part of the western border along with Holiday Hill Road (also known as Farm to Market 1369). To the east, North Midland Drive, also called Farm to Market 868, intersect with West Wadley Avenue to create the eastern and southern boundaries, respectively.

In the southeast corner of Fairmont Park, visitors can shop for Christmas items year round at Miss Cayce’s Christmas Store. This novelty shop is close to Albertson’s and Walgreen’s, offering day-to-day items and necessities. The northern border of Fairmont Park is home to several major restaurants and office supply chains, as well as a Hampton Inn and a movie theater by the name of Hollywood Tall City 14.

A larger commercial center with several restaurants and stores is nestled in Fairmont Park’s southwestern corner just off of Texas Loop 250. Here, visitors can dine at several casual restaurants including Double Dave’s Pizza Works, Buffalo Wild Wing, or Burgers, Fries & Cherry Pies. Across the highway, bowling and putt-putt golf facilities offer entertainment options at AMF Midland Park Lanes and Putt-Putt Fun Center.

Outdoor entertainment can be had at Essex Park in the center of the neighborhood. This city-run park has walking and jogging trails, playground equipment, and open fields for pick-up soccer or football games.
