April Sound Neighborhood

Spread out across acres and acres of pine trees, hills, and golf courses is the East Texas jewel known as April Sound. Located within the 77356 zip code of Montgomery, April Sound is both affluent and welcoming to the newcomer. April Sound is right next to Highway 105 and surrounded by local attractions, services, schools, and businesses.

The April Sound subdivision is full of ample natural scenery, from its graceful hills to its grand properties. Montgomery is a small East Texas town with about 490 residents. The city’s eco-friendly landscape takes up about 4.5 square miles, about 0.1 of which is is water. April Sound is to the east of the center of Montgomery.

Montgomery attracts a heavy share of tourism in relation to its size due to the small area’s reputation as one of the oldest cities in the state. Montgomery also is the birthplace of Texas’ Lone-Star Flag. The local April Sound church, a charismatic place of worship, attracts many residents to it weekly. The April Sound Country Club, which serves both Houston and Montgomery as a premiere club for the wealthy residents of its subdivision, is also a main attraction of the area. The neighborhood is very close in proximity to Lake Conroe, which itself reels in a fair share of tourists.

With a small, rural population and a good amount of affluence, April Sound is the kind of countryside home many dream about. With the local lake and Montgomery’s historical tradition the area is full of surprises for everyone.
