Ingram Hills Neighborhood

Ingram Hills is a neighborhood in San Antonio, Texas, bounded on the south by Ingram Road, the north and west by Callaghan Road, and the east by Benrus Boulevard. Ingram Hills is located northwest of downtown San Antonio and is convenient to Interstate 410. The local bus system stops in many locations in Ingram Hills.

Despite its location in busy San Antonio, the neighborhood is very rural, especially on its northern side. The houses are quite far apart, with plenty of trees, tall bushes and open spaces.

International Bible College is on Benrus Boulevard. This nondenominational college offers free tuition to students from all over the world. There is a church associated with the college that welcomes people from many different religious traditions. Everyone is welcome to worship on Sunday morning at 10:30am.

There are several other religious institutions in the Ingram Hills neighborhood including St Dominic’s Catholic Church, The Church of God Northwest and a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. The Forest Hills branch of the San Antonio Library is also located in the Ingram Hills neighborhood.

Regency Manor is an apartment complex in the Ingram Hills neighborhood. The complex includes a pool and a laundry room and offers one and two-bedroom units. These are very affordable apartments, with rent rates as low as 400$ a month. Other apartment complexes in the Ingram Hills neighborhood include Park on Bandera, Broadview Apartments and Sheriff’s Oaks Apartment.

Angel Place Assisted Living is a private-pay assisted living facility for older Ingram Hills residents. Although there are few shopping centers in this open, quiet neighborhood, there is a Dairy Queen on Callahan Road as well as a Family Dollar Store and Church’s Chicken, and a Bank of America on Bandera Road.
