Cascade View Neighborhood
Cascade Views is a neighborhood in the southern portion of Everett, Washington in Snohomish County. This residential community is bordered on the north by East Casino Road and by Everett Mall Way to the south. The western edge is on Evergreen Way and the eastern side is on Beverly Boulevard. Everett Mall is located to the south of this area. Everett is the county seat of Snohomish County and was named for the son of the first European settler of the region, Everett Colby, who settled the area in 1890.
A large public marina services ships headed into Puget Sound, including Naval Station Everett, home of the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. The Boeing Plant in Paine Field is nearby and employs tens of thousands of Puget Sound residents. Everett hosts over 40 parks, including the Walter Hall Park where a golf course and skate park compete.
The Everett AquaSox Baseball team calls Everett Memorial Stadium home, while the Everett Silvertips hockey team plays at Everett’s Comcast Arena, as does the Washington Stealth, a national lacrosse team.
Students attend Cascade High School, located on E. Casino Road, part of the Everett School District. The Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens cover about two and a half acres of land near Marine View Drive. The area features a dahlia garden, a conifer garden, a Japanese Maple grove, an urban tree walk and a woodlands garden filled with azaleas. Everett is a short half hour drive to the east from Snohomish, a charming and historic small town, or to the south from legendary downtown Seattle.
