Wyoming Apartments for Rent

The vast wilderness and soaring mountains, crystal-clear lakes, and green forests may bring to mind ranches and cowboys, but there’s more to Wyoming than land (lots of land). First, there are the multitude of amazing activities you can participate in when you rent an apartment in Wyoming: skiing, sledding, dog sledding, snowmobiling, hiking, camping, fishing, boating, rock climbing, wildlife viewing, river rafting, gold panning, horseback riding, mountain biking, rock hounding, even soaking in hot springs. There’s so much to do outside in Wyoming, you may find you are hardly ever in your apartment!

This is where the Great Plains meets the Rocky Mountains, and the result is fantastic: grasslands, plateaus, canyons, and jagged mountain peaks result in a stunning landscape. It’s no wonder Wyoming has so many parks, including Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park – the nation’s oldest and most beloved national park. There’s also Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area, Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, Fossil Butte National Monument, Devil’s Tower National Monument, and dozens of state parks and historic sites.

But just because Wyoming is sparsely populated and covered in vast wilderness doesn’t mean its cities are lacking. Cheyenne is the capital and most populated city in Wyoming. Living in a Cheyenne apartment, you’ll be able to shop at Frontier Mall, one of just three indoor malls in the state. Cheyenne is home to several museums, the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, and Cheyenne Frontier Days, the largest rodeo in the US. The second-largest city in Wyoming, Casper, is home to Fort Caspar Museum and Historic Site, several theaters, and Casper College.
