Raleigh’s Deauville neighborhood is located along Beestone Lane on the south side of Durham Road. The community is encompassed by the Wakefield Plantation neighborhoods, which include Wakefield Plantation Rosemont and Kingston at Wakefield Plantation among others. Downtown Raleigh is located approximately 14 miles southwest of Deauville. The smaller town of Wake Forest, North Carolina, is actually closer to the neighborhood (about 2.5 miles to the northeast) than the capital city. Along with large chain stores, these shopping plazas offer a variety of restaurants—from popular chains to hometown favorites.
Deauville is one of a handful of neighborhoods located in the 27614 zip code of Wake County. Less than two miles to the southwest of Deauville are Wakefield Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. North Forest Pines Elementary is situated less than a mile to the south of the community. Nestled between Wakefield Commons and Wakefield Crossing is the Living Arts College @ School of Communication Arts.
