Very close to Vanderbilt is the cultural center of Nashville. The Symphony performs at Schermerhorn Symphony Hall, and the Frist Center for the Visual Arts maintains quality exhibits of interest.

There are several country clubs in this scenic area. Hillwood Country Club and Belle Meade are the most convenient for Crestridge residents. Percy Park has two public courses: Percy Warner Golf Course and Harpeth Hills Golf Course.

Boaters and those who love water-related activities will appreciate the services and convenience at nearby J. Percy Priest Reservoir. Less than a half-hour away, and on the west side of this vast lake, Elm Hill Marina can accommodate even the largest houseboats. They also rent boats, including large pontoon boats.
